Who we help
The Walter and Eliza Hall Trust provides help to those who are financially disadvantaged and / or those who suffer a physical impairment.
Our aim is to make a meaningful and, where we can, ongoing difference to the well-being and quality of life to those Australians who find themselves in desperate circumstances.
By using our processes, donors can directly assist those in dire need, fund scholarships for disabled students who otherwise would face significant hurdles in completing their studies or support medical research into diseases which cause physical disability. 100% of all small donations are passed on to beneficiaries
We have helped tens of thousands of Australians in their time of crisis. Many others have been helped to reach their full potential.
In addition to those individuals, many charitable organisations have been assisted. One notable example is the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, which was established in 1915.
